Cookie Policy
LGScommerce · last updated 23 September 2026
This policy covers this website and the admin. A shop built on the platform sets its own cookies and publishes its own policy; that is the shop's responsibility, not ours.
1. What cookies are
1.1 A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work; others record how it is used.
1.2 We also use similar technologies such as local storage. "Cookie" here means all of them.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
2.1 These are needed for the site to function and are set without consent, because the site cannot be provided without them.
| Name | Purpose | Life |
|---|---|---|
| Session | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and holds your choices while you complete signup. | Until you close the browser |
| Security token | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | 2 hours |
lgsc_consent | Records the cookie choices you made on this banner, so we stop asking. | 12 months |
2.2 You can block these in your browser, but the site will not work.
3. Analytics and marketing cookies
3.1 We set the following only after you agree:
| Name | Category | Purpose | Life |
|---|---|---|---|
lgsc_ref |
Marketing | Remembers which partner, creator or campaign link brought you here, so that partner is credited if you later open an account. It holds a reference to the link only — no name, no email, no profile, and it is never shared with anyone outside LGSCommerce. | Up to 90 days, set per partner |
3.2 We use no third-party analytics or advertising technology on this website. Our own visit counts are kept against a salted hash of your address and browser that is regenerated daily, so they cannot be tied back to you or followed from one day to the next, and they set no cookie.
3.3 Anything in this category is set only after you agree, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which brings the banner back.
4. Third party cookies
4.1 Stripe sets cookies on the payment step for fraud prevention. Those are necessary to take a payment safely and are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
4.2 We embed a web font from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers. [Remove this clause if you self-host the font.]
5. Controlling cookies
5.1 Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and refuse new ones. Look for privacy or site settings in your browser.
5.2 Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you signing in.
6. Changes
6.1 If we change what we set, we will update this page and the date at the top.
